Introduction

When we talk about climate, the major thing that strikes our mind is the condition of weather that ultimately determines seasons. Climate is the prevailing condition in an area formed with the variable temperature, humidity, precipitation, and atmospheric winds. Climate is the variation felt during the living with the variation in the local geography which also influences human activity. Climate change is the change resulted as an influence of human activity that may be denoted by global warming in general. Master of Science in Climate change and Development is a program offered for the graduates for two consecutive years.

Objectives of the course

Climate change is an evolving concept as well as a matter of concern because it has disrupted the usual schedules or the weather. This is why the course is set to facilitate the students and aim for the  following points:

The course is offered by Tribhuvan University in Nepal under Institute of Engineering. The course is under the faculty as it aims to produce environmental engineering focussed on the effects of climate change and work in the field of scientific drivers. 

Eligibility

A candidate must have completed their bachelors  (four years) in the field of engineering or agriculture or forestry or science. The graduates should have a sound academic background and average grades as per set by the institute. The entrance test must be appeared and securing the minimum score is a must to get the admission.  

Admission Criteria

The candidates must fill and submit the application form online within the given deadline as per Entrance Exam board. The forms are available on the website like www.ioe.edu.np/entrance or http://entrance.ioe.edu.np. The respective amount needs to be deposited whereas the voucher number needs to be mentioned in the application form. The appropriate entrance stream needs to be selected and the color photograph of their prescribed specification and the identification documents like citizenship certificate, passport or last exam admit card needs to be presented with the form. The correction of your given information requires a certain amount to be paid.
