Introduction

LLM is an abbreviation of Latin Legum Magister which means Masters in Law. LLM is a postgraduate degree which has got recognition at an international level.  It is a degree that upgrades the lawyers or advocates in a nation. It sharpens the personality of an individual in the legal field with the supplement of necessary attributes in being a lawyer. The students who have completed their BA LLB ( Bachelors of Arts, Bachelors in Law) or LLB (bachelors in law) approaches for their course after their graduation or completion of bachelors in the legal field. Tribhuvan University is one of the oldest universities in Nepal. It offers LLM as two years as well as three years program. The courses are taught in English as well as Nepali with a duration of 24 months and 36 months respectively.
