1. What this app is
Nepal Nursing License Prep is an exam-preparation app for the Nepal Nursing Council (NNC) licensure examinations (NLEN, NLEM, NSREN tracks). Most features — subject practice, chapter tests, mock exams, history, bookmarks — work fully offline without an account.
2. Information we collect
We only collect information when you choose to sign in or use cloud-connected features.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising — this app has no ads.
4. Third-party services
We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore Database, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics, App Check) to operate the app. Firebase acts as our data processor under Google’s own privacy terms: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
We do not share your personal data with any other third party.
5. Data security
Your account data is protected by Firestore security rules — only you (and app administrators, for support purposes) can access your personal data. Sign-in is secured through Firebase Authentication and Google Play Integrity (App Check).
6. Data retention and deletion
Your account data (attempts, streak, bookmarks, profile) is kept until you delete your account. Crash logs and analytics events are retained per Firebase’s standard retention period (up to 14 months) and are not linked to your name after account deletion.

7. Children’s privacy
This app targets nursing students and professionals aged 18 and over preparing for a professional licensure exam. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
