Who we are
LicensePro Nepal – Likhit Prep (“the app”, “we”) is a free driving-license preparation app for Nepal, developed and published by Epitome Solutions (operated by Kamal Pandey, Kathmandu, Nepal). We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to the Department of Transport Management (DoTM) or any government body. Exam preparation content is compiled from publicly available sources for educational purposes only. Official information should be verified at https://dotm.gov.np.
Summary
Studying in the app requires no account and no personal data.
Your study progress stays on your device.
Document photos you compress stay on your device — never uploaded.
We collect personal details only when you submit an inquiry to a driving school or service provider, with your explicit consent.
We collect anonymous usage statistics to improve the app.
Data we do NOT collect
No citizenship numbers, document contents, or document images.
No location tracking (city/province you choose is a preference, not GPS).
No contacts, camera roll scanning, or background data collection.
No advertising identifiers; no third-party ad SDKs.
Data stored only on your device
Study progress, mock-test history, weak-question list, checklist state.
App preferences (language, license category, province, theme).
Photos processed by the image compressor (saved to your device storage).
Uninstalling the app deletes this data. We cannot access or recover it.
Data you choose to send us
Partner inquiry: if you submit an inquiry to a listed driving school or service provider, we transmit the details you typed (name, phone, city, license category, preferred service) to that provider, only after you tick the consent box. The provider receives only what you submitted.
Content reports: if you report a question issue, the report text and the question ID are sent to us for review.
Anonymous usage data
We collect event counts (e.g. “mock test completed”, “trial guide opened”) to understand which features help learners. These events contain no names, no phone numbers, no document data, and no precise location. Crash diagnostics (error type and stack trace) may be collected to fix bugs.
Legal basis and consent
Personal data (inquiries) is processed on the basis of your explicit consent, which you may withdraw by contacting us. Anonymous statistics are processed on the basis of legitimate interest in improving a free public-benefit app.
Sharing
We share inquiry details only with the specific provider you chose. We do not sell data. We may disclose data if required by Nepali law.
Retention
Inquiry data: retained up to 12 months, then deleted.
Content reports: retained until resolved plus 6 months.
Anonymous statistics: retained in aggregate form.
Your rights
Contact us at epitomesolutionsnp@gmail.com to request access to or deletion of inquiry data you submitted. Device-local data is under your control directly.
Children
The app is intended for people preparing for a driving license (18+ for most categories in Nepal). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes
We will update this page and the effective date when the policy changes.
